Job Opportunity

This is a full-time, temporary-to-hire opportunity for a Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C). The ideal candidate will display excellent patient care and communication skills, working in a primary care model clinic that specializes in serving elderly patients aged 62 and above.

Job Details

• Shift: Day Shift, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks, with the opportunity to convert to a permanent position
• Start Date: ASAP
• Experience Required: 0 years; new graduates are welcome to apply
• Interview: Required prior to offer
• Local Candidates Only: Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the clinic

Responsibilities

• Assist with standard medical assistant workflow, working within the top of your scope
• Provide excellent patient care with a focus on geriatric patients
• Maintain effective communication with outside facilities and physicians regarding patient care
• Perform administrative duties such as chart preparation, scheduling appointments, and follow-up phone calls
• Document patient information efficiently and accurately, preferably using EPIC (experience preferred but not required)

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid WA Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) license
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
• Strong administrative experience is essential
• Must have transportation and childcare arrangements resolved prior to starting

Additional Information

This role does not require weekend work or on-call duties. Candidates are expected to demonstrate reliability and punctuality to ensure outstanding patient care.
