Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scrub and circulating duties across all surgical service lines including neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedic, GYN, general surgery, obstetrics, pediatrics, geriatrics, and robotic (Da Vinci) procedures
• Operate within a 7-OR and 2-Endo suite environment without specialized service line teams, requiring broad surgical competency
• Fulfill on-call obligations including one weeknight per week, every 5th or 6th weekend (Saturday and Sunday), and rotating holiday call
• Float to Pre/Post-Op, PACU (if trained), and ER for trauma cases as needed
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR
• Collaborate with charge nurses, OR techs, and core staff to uphold a strong culture of teamwork and patient safety

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong proficiency across all surgical service lines; must be well-versed in varied OR procedures
• Neuro experience strongly required; candidates with ACLS proficiency ratings of 3 or 4 preferred
• Must pass a department-specific open-book skills exam with a minimum score of 90% during orientation week
• Artificial nails are prohibited; compliance with facility fingernail policy is required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Da Vinci robotic surgical procedures
• Prior PACU experience enabling float coverage
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR system
• Demonstrated flexibility in adapting to varied daily surgical schedules
