Radar Systems Subject Matter Expert
Radar Systems Engineer with 15 to 20 years' experience leading teams in developing and implementing radars and radar signal processing algorithms. Significant experience in radar signal processing algorithm development and radar waveform design. Demonstrated experience in designing radar algorithms for implementation on FPGA or ASIC devices. Experience in providing test provision inputs to FPGA or ASIC engineers to support implementation validation activities. Experience in trading off waveform design and algorithm design for system implementation. Understanding of hardware trade-offs impacting signal processing algorithm development. Experience in developing algorithms and hardware for missile and/or space applications. Experience in EA/EP analysis of radar waveform designs and signal processing algorithms. Experience in adapting hardware implemented algorithms into digital signal processing implementation. Previous experience with altimeter or HOB sensor applications desirable. Experience in testing implemented signal processing algorithms in both prototype and flight hardware. Experience in leading teams of 4 to 6 less experienced engineers desirable. Minimum active secret security clearance required. Active top secret security clearance nice to have.
