Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Litigation Legal Assistant to join our client's legal team in Miami, Fl.


This role provides essential administrative and case management support to attorneys and paralegals, with a strong focus on calendaring, scheduling, case coordination, and managing critical deadlines . The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and experienced in a fast-paced litigation environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage attorneys' calendars, including scheduling depositions, hearings, mediations, meetings, and other legal proceedings.
• Coordinate case-related appointments and ensure all critical deadlines and dates are accurately tracked.
• Assist paralegals with calendaring important case deadlines and monitoring case progress.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other parties regarding scheduling and case-related matters.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain legal documents, case files, correspondence, and other case materials.
• Provide administrative and case management support to attorneys and paralegals as needed.
• Ensure calendars and case management systems are kept accurate and up to date.
• Assist with maintaining an organized and efficient workflow across multiple matters.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant , preferably in a litigation practice.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficiency with legal software, case management systems, and calendaring platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with litigation procedures, court deadlines, and case management is preferred.
