Surgery - Cardiovascular Physician Assistant

Start Date: 5/19 (Pending Credentialing or Temporary Privileges) Schedule: Two weeks on, two weeks off Shift Hours: 7:00 AM 4:00 PM with call coverage Position Overview: Surgical and clinic duties including vein harvesting and first assist for CT surgery Clinic census: 2-6 patients per day Call census: 4-6 patients per day (varies based on hospital census) Work alongside 1 CVT surgeon Surgical procedures include CABG, valve repair/replacement, and vascular cases Certification Requirements: BLS and ACLS PA or APRN certification Case log verification for vein harvesting (endoscopic or open); endoscopic experience required Equipment: EVH: Maquet (Getinge) Vasoview Hemopro 2 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in CT surgery and vein harvesting required Candidate Requirements: Active NV State License or IMLC Flu and Covid vaccinations required (Medical or religious exemptions accepted) Credentialing: Target date: ASAP Temporary privileges may be granted for clean candidates Interested?
