Locum MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Emergency Medicine

Responsibilities Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients Assess and diagnose patient conditions promptly and accurately Perform life-saving procedures and interventions as needed Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure optimal patient care Maintain accurate medical records and documentation Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions Adhere to all hospital protocols and policies Stay updated on the latest developments in emergency medicine practices Requirements Active MD or DO license in Emergency Medicine 1-3 years of clinical experience in an emergency setting Strong diagnostic and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment Commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus Schedule: 8-hour day and night shifts Annual Volume: 25,000 patients Support Staff: Overlapping MDs, APPs EMR: Meditech Must be board-certified ACLS, BLS and DEA required Paid travel & expenses #J-18808-Ljbffr 77 consultants
