Responsibilities Assist the General Manager with day‑to‑day operations of the property, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, food & beverage, and sales. Set goals, motivate employees, control labor expenses, manage general expenses, and resolve guest‑related issues in line with company goals. Direct and manage property operations to assure optimum performance and continual improvement in the five Key Result Areas (guest service, employees, sales/marketing, property appearance, and profit/financial control). Oversee the guest service function to ensure corrective action is taken and superior guest service is delivered. Perform duties in other areas of the hotel when needed to support operations. Assume the duties of the General Manager when the General Manager is unavailable. Complete additional duties as assigned to meet business needs. Requirements Energetic, self‑motivated leader with a strong work ethic. Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills. Ability to direct and oversee multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work and interact with employees at all levels. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Working knowledge of Excel and Word; knowledge of property management software systems is a must. Local market knowledge and experience is a plus, with emphasis on local, corporate, and group business.
