Our patients experience the convenience of in-clinic chemotherapy treatments, as well as the treatment and management of blood disorders./ppWe are looking for talented and highly-motivated individuals who demonstrate a natural desire to support the meaningful work of community oncologists and the patients we serve./ph3Job Responsibilities:/h3pAnswers all incoming calls in a prompt, courteous and professional manner/ppRoutes calls and messages appropriately/ppFollows standard operating procedures (SOPs) for obtaining pertinent information depending on nature of call./ppPresents a personable, resourceful approach to problem solving, as well as support and help to all callers./ppGreets patients/visitors and provides assistance as appropriate./ppObtains pre-patient registration, demographic and insurance information and enters appropriately into Patient Management System (PM) or Electronic Health Record (EHR). Including all paper/electronic documents./ppRequests, collects, documents, and assesses all appropriate records to ensure patient has been scheduled properly and all necessary records have been obtained for evaluation in accordance with HIPAA regulations./ppEnsures referring physicians have received communication regarding the new patient visit and continuous continuity of care communications are followed/ppCommunicate with outside entities to obtain patient medical history records when appropriate./ppEnsure all necessary medical information is obtained and entered into patients electronic medical record ahead of appointment/ppRuns and/or works daily reports to identify patients with unscheduled orders/ppPerforms tasks related to Governmental, Insurance and Quality Initiative Programs:/pulliEnsures communication is distributed to patients regarding program details/liliGenerates and distributes to external providers office a Clinical Summary from Electronic Health Record (EHR)/liliCommunicates information regarding Patient Engagement Portal and assists with registration process/li/ulpDemonstrates excellent customer service./ppResponds promptly to patient, physician and clinical requests./ppOther duties as assigned/ppAbility to travel/float to other clinics for business needs/ppMaintain and ensure confidentiality of patient information/ppAdheres to all practice policies and procedures/p/div
