Overview We are hiring immediately for full time DISHWASHER positions. Location: Methodist Healthcare Germantown Hospital - 7691 Poplar Avenue, Germantown, TN 38138. Note: online applications accepted only. Schedule: Full time schedule. Monday through Friday, hours may vary; rotating weekends included. More details upon interview. Pay Range: $15.00 per hour to $15.50 per hour. Responsibilities Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition. Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment. Washes pots, pans and trays according to assigned procedures and ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation. Polishes silver using appropriate equipment and procedures to ensure cleanliness and sanitation. Ensures compliance with safety procedures and maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by standards. Keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards. Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure safety and sanitation. Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces. Removes trash and handles disposal per designated containers; assists in cleaning and sanitizing cans and bins. Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas; helps load and unload supplies and products. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous dishwashing experience is preferred.
