Job Description:
The site is seeking coverage starting on June 10, 2026, with ongoing opportunities. The position involves UPHS Marquette Urology Call Coverage, including 24-hour call coverage from 7 AM to 7 AM. The provider will be responsible for night and weekend call support, including rounding and discharging patients, with a response time within 20 minutes. Typical caseload includes approximately 1-5 patients per shift, with 2-5 call-ins per day. The provider may have to conduct inpatient rounding on new admissions and other inpatients needing attention.

Calls are expected to be about 2-4 per night, with 1-2 onsite call-ins, where the provider should stay on-site for call-back hours, averaging 2-4 hours per day. The provider must document all call-back activities, including times and reasons, on their timesheet for verification. Contact reviews such as telephone calls or medical record reviews are not considered onsite call-back. The assignment includes managing common hospital procedures such as kidney stones, CBI consults, stents, hematuria management, and difficult catheter placements.
