Job Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour call coverage for urology cases
• Respond to approximately 2-4 calls per night, with 1-2 onsite call-ins expected
• Perform common hospital procedures such as kidney stone management, stenting, and difficult catheter placements
• Conduct inpatient rounding and manage new admissions

Qualifications

• Board Certification in Urology required
• Experience in general urology and adult urological care
• Preferred experience in laparoscopic surgeries and nephrectomy
• Ability to respond onsite within 20 minutes during call

Working Hours

• 24-hour call shifts, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
• Average onsite call-back hours: 2-4 hours per day

Skills

• Proficiency in ureteroscopy
• Strong communication skills for patient consults and collaboration with medical staff
• Ability to work independently while on call, with meticulous documentation of call-back hours and patient care activities
