About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Transactions to lead the acquisition and disposition activities for neighborhood and community shopping centers. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the deal process, including sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, structuring, and closing. This role requires a strategic focus on disciplined capital deployment, risk management, and execution that aligns with institutional and public-company standards. Key responsibilities include establishing and executing pricing and negotiation strategies, identifying off-market opportunities, and representing the company at industry events. The VP will also oversee a team of transaction professionals, manage the transaction process, and ensure that all activities are in line with the company's objectives. Applicants for the Vice President, Transactions position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 7-10 years of experience in retail real estate acquisitions and dispositions, preferably with a public REIT, institutional owner, or operator. The role demands a candidate with a strong understanding of neighborhood and community shopping center assets, advanced financial modeling and analytical skills, and a proven ability to source transactions. Leadership, communication, and project management skills are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple transactions and meet deadlines. The ideal candidate will have a background in negotiating purchase and sale agreements, underwriting and valuing retail real estate investments, and preparing investment committee materials. Active participation in industry associations such as ICSC and/or ULI is preferred.
