Robert Half is seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to support a large, multi-location healthcare organization. This role will provide hands-on technical support to more than 750 end users , troubleshooting day-to-day technology issues while supporting user accounts, devices, Microsoft technologies, and endpoint deployments.

Duration: Contract-to-hire

Location: 100% Onsite

Pay rate : $27-$33/hourly

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on desktop and technical support to end users across multiple locations and service areas.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Windows desktop, hardware, software, printer, mobile device, and connectivity issues .
• Support Microsoft 365 and Active Directory , including user accounts, access, permissions, password resets, and general account administration.
• Perform device deployment, desktop imaging, configuration, setup, and endpoint support .
• Support mobile devices, primarily iOS devices , and assist with device configuration and troubleshooting.
• Manage incoming requests through the ticketing system , including prioritizing tickets, documenting troubleshooting steps, communicating with users, and ensuring issues are appropriately resolved and closed.
• Independently troubleshoot and resolve most day-to-day technical issues while recognizing when escalation is appropriate.
• Escalate complex, recurring, infrastructure-related, or specialized issues to senior IT staff and leadership.
• Provide technical support in a professional, patient, and customer-focused manner.
• Support users across a large organization while balancing multiple priorities and maintaining clear communication throughout the resolution process.

• 2-4+ years of hands-on desktop support, help desk, or technical support experience in a professional business environment.
• Experience supporting users within a large or enterprise environment strongly preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience with Windows desktop support and troubleshooting .
• Experience administering and supporting Microsoft 365 and Active Directory .
• Experience with device deployment, imaging, configuration, and endpoint management .
• Experience working within a structured ticketing/support queue environment .
• Experience troubleshooting printers, desktop hardware, software, and mobile devices.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot technical issues using a structured problem-solving methodology.
• Strong understanding of when and how to escalate more complex technical issues.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills .
• Ability to remain patient and professional while supporting users with varying levels of technical knowledge.

Preferred Experience

• Experience supporting multiple locations or distributed end-user environments .
• Previous experience supporting users within a healthcare environment .
• Experience supporting iOS/mobile devices.
• CompTIA A+, Microsoft, endpoint management, or similar technical certifications are beneficial but not required .
