Outpatient Physical Therapist Position

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist to evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with patients' needs, goals, and physician direction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs that facilitate effective community reintegration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to formulate appropriate treatment plans and goals aimed at advancing patients toward discharge.
• Complete accurate and timely medical record documentation, including goal writing and quality assessments.
• Ensure care is administered under valid physician orders and within insurance approval.
• Contribute to student programs, offering support and evaluations for student therapists as needed.
• Participate in professional development by pursuing continuing education and engaging in professional organizations.
• Adhere to all applicable state practice acts and maintain professional licensure in good standing.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• A minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience is required.
• Current CPR certification.

Schedule

This position operates on a 5x8.0 schedule, ensuring work-life balance for our team members.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
