Location: Fredericksburg, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day shift, 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week; typically 0900–1730 with scheduling flexibility. On-call responsibilities include 1 weekend call per month (Friday/Saturday/Sunday) and 1 weekday call per month.

Highlights:

• Provide care in a multi-faceted perioperative environment with 4 PreOp bays, 6 Recovery bays, 6 Restore/PCI rooms, 5 Operating Rooms, 1 Cath Lab, and 2 Endo suites
• Support diverse surgical procedures including general, orthopedic, gynecological, vascular, GI, PCI, and interventional radiology
• Work with standard ASPAN patient ratios in a collaborative 43-member clinical team
• Utilize Meditech EMR and modern equipment including GE monitors, Plum IV pumps, Sonosite, bladder scanners, wound vacs, and Bair PAWS/huggers
• Hospital-provided scrubs with day shift structure and minimal floating (within unit only)
• Opportunity to assist with regional blocks and perform blood transfusions

Requirements:

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
• PreOp and Phase II recovery/PAW experience required; Phase I experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Flexible, positive attitude, and ability to function autonomously as a strong team player
• Meditech experience and regional block assistance experience preferred
