Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (occasional 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM shifts as needed) | Every other weekend and holiday coverage as needed | No Call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients across all age groups, including special care populations such as cancer, sepsis, medical emergencies, and behavioral health
• Deliver care within a facility that includes a cath lab, women's health services, and a designated stroke program
• Participate in STEMI and stroke response protocols in alignment with facility standards
• Document and manage patient care using EPIC EMR
• Float to other campus locations within the health system as needed
• Complete unit-based compliance modules during orientation (non-billable, averaging 2–4 hours; hours vary by unit)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required; first-time travelers are welcome
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• STEMI and Stroke facility experience required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
• No open background cases permitted; third-party education verification required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for behavioral health patients in an emergency setting
• Familiarity with cath lab or women's health patient populations
• Experience working within a multi-campus health system
