Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments of clients to identify their mental health needs and challenges, utilizing intake interviews and standardized screening tools to gather comprehensive information.

• Develop personalized treatment plans through collaborative goal-setting with clients that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic modalities, ensuring strategies are tailored to individual needs.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health management, offering workshops and one-on-one sessions that focus on coping mechanisms and healthy lifestyle choices.

• Work alongside interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, primary care providers, and support staff, to ensure clients receive holistic care that addresses all facets of their well-being.

• Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in mental health care to continuously refine and enhance individual customer service as well as organizational procedures.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve are diverse, representing a broad spectrum of backgrounds, ages, and mental health challenges—from dealing with stress and anxiety to more severe mental health conditions. An understanding of cultural competency and the ability to tailor interventions based on the unique needs of each client will be crucial.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.

• Possession of an active New York State mental health license (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC) is essential for this role.

• Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and familiarity with telehealth platforms for effective online counseling sessions.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
