Work Environment\n

This fully remote position allows for flexibility in your work schedule, primarily operating Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. However, a degree of adaptability will be required to accommodate our clients' varying needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for new and existing clients to determine their needs and develop tailored treatment plans, ensuring a meticulous understanding of their unique situations.

• Implement various evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, to facilitate individual and group therapy sessions.
\n
• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups that foster community among clients dealing with similar mental health concerns.
\n
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to coordinate holistic care and ensure seamless service delivery for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention services when clients face mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate support and appropriate follow-up.
\n
• Educate clients on mental health issues, their treatment options, and the community resources available to support their journey.
\n
• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of clinical activities and client interactions in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Actively participate in case consultations and team meetings to enhance patient care strategies and professional development.

• Stay abreast of the latest developments in mental health research and therapy methodologies to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice serves a diverse clientele, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and substance use problems. By utilizing telehealth technology, we aim to reduce barriers to access, allowing us to connect with underserved communities and offer essential mental health services to those who need it the most.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.

• A sound understanding of various mental health disorders, therapeutic approaches, and evidence-based treatment methods.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in conducting mental health assessments and crafting effective treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
\n
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering rapport with clients and collaboration with team members.
\n
• Capability to uphold professional ethics and maintain client confidentiality at all times.
\n
• Proficient in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and other software applications relevant to the practice.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience delivering therapy, both individually and in group settings, to a diverse population is highly preferred.

• Previous work in a telehealth setting may also be advantageous, allowing for smoother integration into our team's unique operational model.

Compensation and Benefits\n
