Role Description The Associate Attorney will be a full-time, on-site team member based in Joliet, IL. This role involves managing a caseload, conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, advocating for clients in court proceedings and providing clear, practical legal advice to clients. Daily responsibilities also include client communication, maintaining accurate case files, and collaborating with colleagues and staff to advance client matters efficiently. Qualifications Strong foundation in Law, with the ability to interpret statutes, case law, and regulations Experience or coursework in Probate, Guardianships, Wills and Trusts Ability to provide clear, practical Legal Advice to clients Proficiency in legal Research, including drafting memoranda and analyzing complex legal issues Effective Negotiation skills for settlements, agreements, and client advocacy Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admission, or eligibility for admission, to the Illinois bar Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and organization Ability to manage multiple matters, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in an on-site environment Prior experience in litigation or probate and guardianship-related matters is preferred but not required #J-18808-Ljbffr Wengler Law Firm, PC
