This role involves providing specialized critical care services within the ICU and Stepdown units, with specific shifts scheduled during nights. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Roswell, New Mexico
• Specialty: ICU FLOAT (Intensive Care Unit Float)

• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend (EOW), floating and call required
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0 hours
• Required Qualifications: Active nursing license in the state, 2 or more years of ICU experience, current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications, proficiency with Cerner electronic medical record system
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Stepdown and Medical Surgical (MS) units, ability to float to these units
• Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Additional Information:
  • Call may be required but rarely needed
  • Patient to nurse ratios of approximately 1:2 to 1:3-4 in Stepdown units
  • Floating to Stepdown and Med Surgical departments required
  • No. of Positions: 1
