Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Bring your speech-language pathology skills to a rewarding school-based contract role, working with students in a supportive educational community close to Napa. This opportunity runs from August 10th through June 4th, with a full-time weekday schedule—each day is 7.75 hours plus a 30-minute duty-free lunch. Most openings serve pre-K through 5th-grade students, offering an engaging caseload focused on fostering communication and language development in young learners.

What You’ll Bring:

• Active California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) and/or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
• Experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare SLP settings
• Familiarity with best practices for serving PK-5 populations
• Comfort working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs and school guidelines
• Develop intervention plans tailored to individual student needs and educational goals
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to foster student progress
• Maintain comprehensive documentation in compliance with district and professional standards
• Engage in school-based activities, meetings, and professional development as needed

Position Details:

• Contract runs from August through early June, following the school calendar
• Assignments typically involve only one school site, with a maximum caseload of 55 students
• Remote panel interview with flexible scheduling
• Primarily PK-5 caseload within an established district recognized for its dedication to student success
