(USA) Area Manager, Level I - Optical Lab

What you'll do Maintain quality and safety standards in area of responsibility by ensuring associates and supervisors are trained on company policies and procedures, distributing and maintaining procedures and supporting documentation, monitoring compliance with policies, procedures, standards and area production goals, and identifying and resolving internal/external Customer associate and supervisor concerns. Manage and develop associates and supervisors in area of responsibility by assigning duties and coordinating workloads, communicating goals, monitoring performance and providing feedback, teaching and supporting company policies and procedures, and participating in the hiring, promotion, coaching, training and evaluation of associates and supervisors. Manage financial aspects in area of responsibility by monitoring and tracking expenses, monitoring asset utilization and preparing, reviewing, and analyzing business reports. Communicate with customers, suppliers and/or other Walmart associates verbally or in writing. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) Stock Minimum Qualifications 6 months experience as a Walmart Optical Supervisor OR 1 year experience as a Walmart Supervisor (non-optical) OR 2 years external work experience in a management role (incl. supervisor) leading a team of five or more supervisors and/or employees.
