Information On The Division

Located in Strongsville, the 110+ employee facility (100,000 sq. ft.) is one of Hroux-Devteks centers of excellence for the final assembly of landing gear.

As part of the Central Division, you will lead P&L responsible for critical machining operations of major commercial aircraft programs such as the Boeing 777 and Embraer E-2, and important military programs such as F-18, F-35, C-17 and C-130.

With a strong focus on latest technology of manufacturing processes with machining automation and techniques we aim to remain the best value producer of complex landing gear components.

Summary

The Accounts Payable Specialist compiles and maintains account payable records. They will assist the Controller with accounting projects, coordinating payment schedule, and communicating schedules with vendors.

Main Responsibilities

Daily activities:

• Match invoices to receiving & purchasing documents.
• Verify, code & enter invoices into the computer system.
• Research vendor statements, phone calls and discrepancies.
• File paid and unpaid invoices and statements.
• Organize and match returns paperwork.
• Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
• Assembles invoices and obtains signatures on all accounts payable checks.
• Distributes signed checks as required.Answer all vendor inquiries.
• Assist in the maintenance of accounts payable reports, spreadsheets, and corporate account payable files.
• Assists corporate financial officers and branch personnel, as necessary.

Weekly Activities

• Complete check run bi-weekly
• Backup payroll and AR as needed

Monthly Activities

• Assist with month end close
• Assist in tracking purchases versus department budgets

Our Ideal Candidate

• High school diploma required
• 1+ year of related experience
• Associates Degree, certification, or technical training preferred
• Experience in the manufacturing industry preferred
