Registered Nurse – LTAC / Long Length of Stay Acute Med-Surg
Location: Olympia, Washington, United States
Travel assignment in a hospital setting with a short-term acute care focus

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adult and geriatric populations on LTAC/acute med-surg pathways
- Monitor and document vital signs; administer prescribed medications and IV therapies; perform wound and ostomy care as applicable
- Manage complex patient needs, including dementia, behavioral concerns, and safety risks; assist with transfers and mobility
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (PT, respiratory, pharmacy, social work) to support stabilization and transition planning
- Respond to clinical changes, participate in rounds, and support rapid response when needed
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record and adhere to unit protocols

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
- LTAC experience preferred but not required
- First-time travelers accepted
- BLS certification required
- Floating to like med-surg units within the skill set is required; not expected mid-shift
- Local travel restriction: travelers with permanent residence within 50 miles are not eligible for this travel assignment
- Pre-start modules and annual compliance modules required; orientation approximately 12 hours
- COVID-19 vaccine not required
