Unit Highlights Alzheimer's & Dementia Care – 31 Beds Provide individualized care to residents living with Alzheimer's and dementia in a supportive, home-like environment. Utilize effective verbal and non-verbal communication Provide individualized, resident-centered care Recognize and respond appropriately to dementia-related behaviors Support residents requiring long-term placement Promote safety, dignity and quality of life Transitional Rehabilitation – 42 Beds Care for patients recovering from fractures, joint replacements, back surgery, stroke and other illnesses or injuries requiring short-term skilled nursing and rehabilitation. Potential clinical responsibilities include: IV therapy Wound care Geriatric assessment and management Post-surgical recovery Rehabilitation-focused nursing care Long-Term Care – 42 Beds Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents requiring longer-term placement in a comfortable, home-like environment. Responsibilities Provide direct and indirect nursing care to residents Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes appropriately Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols Perform wound care and IV therapy as needed Support rehabilitation and recovery plans Provide geriatric-focused nursing care Care for residents with Alzheimer's and dementia Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams Promote patient safety, comfort and dignity Float to other units as needed ✅ Requirements Required: 2 years of RN experience Active Maine or Compact RN license BLS/BCLS certification Epic experience Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Flexibility to float between units Ability to work in a 24/7 patient-care environment LTC, SNF, post-acute, rehabilitation or geriatric nursing experience is highly desirable. ⭐ Why This Assignment?
