EP Lab Tech

Overview Assisting the physician in the performance of invasive electrophysiology procedures, with basic knowledge of EP Lab equipment and its maintenance while providing direct and indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures and sedation. Responsibilities Assist the physician during invasive electrophysiology procedures and sedation; maintain EP Lab equipment; provide direct and indirect patient care during established procedures. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), EP program graduate, Respiratory Therapist, Exercise Physiology, Paramedic, or Radiology Technologist – required Work Experience No experience required. Licenses and Certifications Applicable healthcare license upon hire – required If a graduate of RCIS or an EP program, must obtain RCIS/RCES within 24 months – required BCLS – Basic Life Support upon hire – required ACLS – upon hire – required Business Unit Piedmont Augusta Hospital #J-18808-Ljbffr Piedmont Healthcare
