Commercial Landscape Account Manager

Hanagan Landscaping is seeking an experienced Commercial Landscape Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of commercial maintenance accounts throughout southeastern Pennsylvania and South Jersey area. 

This position is the primary connection between our clients and operations team. The Account Manager will build strong customer relationships, coordinate service delivery, monitor quality, protect account profitability, and identify opportunities for enhancements and additional services.

The ideal candidate understands commercial landscape maintenance, communicates well with clients and crews, and takes ownership of both customer satisfaction and financial results.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned commercial maintenance clients
• Build trusted client relationships through regular communication, property visits, and proactive problem-solving
• Conduct site inspections and ensure contracted services meet Hanagan Landscaping’s quality standards
• Coordinate service requirements, priorities, and schedule changes with operations managers and field crews
• Review contracts, scopes of work, service schedules, and property-specific requirements
• Prepare proposals for enhancements, seasonal color, plant replacements, improvements, and additional services
• Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts while recommending work that provides genuine value to clients
• Participate in renewals and help retain profitable, long-term customer relationships
• Monitor account budgets, labor hours, material usage, enhancement revenue, and overall profitability
• Compare estimated production requirements with actual field results and address performance issues
• Ensure completed work, change orders, site notes, and customer approvals are documented accurately
• Resolve service concerns promptly and communicate clear corrective-action plans
• Support snow and ice management planning, client communication, and post-event follow-up
• Work with estimating, production, and administrative teams to ensure smooth account transitions and accurate billing
• Maintain current information in the company’s CRM, scheduling, estimating, and job-costing systems

Qualifications

• Three or more years of account management, operations, sales, or supervisory experience in commercial landscaping
• Strong knowledge of commercial landscape maintenance practices and production requirements.
• Strong knowledge of commercial snow and ice management and production requirements.
• Proven ability to build client relationships, retain accounts, and develop additional revenue
• Understanding of estimating, labor budgeting, job costing, and account profitability
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to coordinate multiple properties, priorities, and deadlines
• Comfortable working in the field and office
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn industry software
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
• Landscape Industry Certified credentials, horticultural knowledge, or snow-management experience are a plus

Compensation and Schedule

The salary range for this position is $70,000–$85,000 per year , depending on experience and qualifications.

This is a full-time position. The role generally follows a Monday-through-Friday schedule, with some early-morning, evening, or weekend availability required during peak seasons, urgent service situations, and winter weather events.
