The assignment begins around November 1, 2026 and is expected to provide approximately 2–6 months of coverage . You'll care for patients placed into hospital observation status following Emergency Department evaluation , providing continued assessment, diagnostic evaluation, treatment, monitoring, and disposition planning. The current observation model is designed around patients who require additional care and clinical decision-making but may not require full inpatient admission.
