This community hospital seeks a Psychiatrist for adult inpatient psychiatric coverage on a locum tenens basis. The facility maintains a structured inpatient environment supported by a multidisciplinary clinical team to ensure continuity of care for the adult population served. Clinical protocols are established to support the delivery of comprehensive inpatient psychiatric services.

New York State offers regional attractions and year-round activities suited to a range of interests. Outdoor recreation, cultural venues, and diverse communities are accessible throughout the state, providing clinicians with options for both leisure and professional engagement during their assignment.

Clinicians in this role will provide full-time inpatient psychiatric care for adult patients, working Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, totaling 40 hours per week on-site. Clinical responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations and providing medication management for the adult inpatient population, with an average of 5-10 patients per day. Rotating call and weekend coverage are required for this assignment. The support team includes 2 MDs and 1 NP.
