Key Responsibilities
Support the planning, development, issuance, and progress tracking of Construction Work Packages (CWPs) and Installation Work Packages (IWPs) for assigned simple cycle construction scopes, including civil, mechanical, electrical, and balance-of-plant activities. Participate in integrated planning sessions to help align engineering, materials, labor, schedule, and field constraints before work is released to the craft.
Partner with discipline superintendents, construction coordinators, construction management, and vendor representatives to identify and resolve field execution challenges related to design information, material availability, sequencing, change management, safety, and quality.
Coordinate with Engineering on Requests for Information (RFIs), drawing interpretation, constructability reviews, and timely technical responses that support safe and efficient field installation.
Review and monitor contractor and look-ahead schedules for assigned work scopes, helping identify constraints early and supporting recovery plans when needed. Maintain daily site records, support commercial recovery documentation, ensure IWP turnover documentation is returned from the field, and contribute to clear communication across field engineering, project controls, document controls, quality, and construction leadership.
Lead, support, and mentor construction coordinators as needed, helping manage workload, process flow, field planning priorities, lessons learned, and opportunities for improvement. Actively promote a strong safety culture and support continuous improvement initiatives that improve productivity, quality, and execution on simple cycle projects.
Serve as a key coordination point between construction leadership, engineering, project controls, quality, document control, vendors, and craft teams to help remove barriers and keep field work progressing safely and efficiently.

Experience coordinating field teams, construction coordinators, subcontractors, or craft work groups preferred.
Preferred skills include knowledge of construction sequencing, work packaging, look-ahead planning, cost control, scheduling, engineering drawings, material takeoffs, field estimates, contract administration, safety regulations, and quality requirements. Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, leadership, and Microsoft Excel skills are valued, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced site environment and manage priorities across multiple stakeholders.
