Position Title: Clinical Faculty Program: Clinical Psychology (PsyD) Classification: Faculty, Full-time Reports to: Co-Chairs & Director of Clinical Training (DCT), Clinical Psychology Program (PsyD) Location: Campus-based (Clinic and Antioch University Seattle campus) Start Date: July 2026 Compensation: Antioch University offers a competitive compensation and benefits package that includes both direct and indirect pay. The compensation will be based on experience, education, knowledge, credentials, and the difficulty and complexity of the position. The minimum salary for this position, based on residential location, is $67,410.00. The Graduate School of Counseling, Psychology, and Therapy at Antioch University invites applications for a full-time Clinical Faculty position to serve in a dual leadership role as the Antioch University Community Training Clinic (The Clinic) Director and Assistant Director of Clinical Training (ADCT) in the APA-accredited doctoral (Psy.D.) program in Clinical Psychology at the Seattle campus. The mission of the Psy.D. program, founded in 2004, is to educate students to become informed, effective practitioner-scholars and change agents in a diverse world from a social justice orientation. This role integrates clinical leadership and support, training oversight, and supervision, with optional teaching opportunities. Position Overview: The licensed clinical psychologist hired for this Clinical Faculty position will serve as the Clinic Director and ADCT. This role includes the administration and management of clinic operations, as well as supporting the Director of Clinical Training (DCT) in the practicum and advanced practicum training of doctoral students. The Clinic provides psychotherapy and evaluation services to the Seattle community through PsyD students engaged in practicum and, occasionally, advanced practicum roles. The Clinic Director & ADCT will ensure all components of practicum training are competency-based, sequential, and developmentally appropriate, consistent with the American Psychological Association’s Standards of Accreditation. This is a full-time, in-person position, and includes serving as an on-site supervisor for students in training. Clinical Faculty contributes to the design, implementation, documentation, and continuous quality improvement of clinical training experiences that ensure students demonstrate competency in the nine standard APA competencies. Additionally, the AUS PsyD program upholds a tenth competency in social justice, which is integrated at all levels of clinical and academic training. Clinical Faculty may engage in teaching as requested by the Co-Chairs of the PsyD program. Primary Responsibilities as Clinic Director: Provides leadership for the program’s in-house training clinic, ensuring alignment with APA-accreditation program standards. Maintains and expands the clinic’s role in the community by fostering relationships with local organizations, schools, and other community resources to advance its goals. Effectively manages and oversees clinic personnel. Oversees clinic operations to ensure that clinical services and training experiences uphold the highest clinical standards and support the development of profession-wide competencies in our students. Ensures clinic policies and procedures adhere to APA Ethical Principles and comply with all federal and state regulations, including HIPAA, WAC, and other applicable codes. Maintains and oversees electronic records management systems, supervision documentation, and client care quality assurance for all clinical services. Coordinates the clinic budget with the Co-Chairs of the PsyD program. Oversees triage and coordination of client assignments to student therapists. Provides clinical supervision to students as assigned and in collaboration with the DCT. Primary Responsibilities as Assistant Director of Clinical Training (ADCT): In collaboration with the DCT, coordinates advanced practicum placements and maintains relationships with external training sites. Supports the administration of the competency-based practicum training model, ensuring sequenced practicum experiences and alignment with APA profession-wide competencies across training experiences. Participates in student review, progression, and remediation processes, including attendance at faculty meetings and annual program reviews. Supports student competency evaluation systems, ensuring ongoing formative and summative assessments and the use of standardized evaluation tools tied to profession-wide competencies. Assists in the maintenance of training records required for accreditation reporting and annual data review. When required, assists with APA accreditation self-study preparation, annual reports, and accreditation site visits. Required Qualifications: Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an APA-accredited doctoral program. Candidates with APA-internship preferred. Licensed or licensable in Washington State as a clinical psychologist. Demonstrated experience in clinical supervision, competency-based training models, and evaluation of clinical competencies. Working knowledge of American Psychological Association Standards of Accreditation and Ethical Principles of Psychologists and Code of Conduct. Preferred Qualifications: Prior involvement in clinic management and/or clinical training administration (e.g., practicum coordination, DCT/Assistant DCT roles at a regionally accredited institution).
