Work Hours: 10 hours/day, 40 hours/week

Summary:
Seeking an engineer to provide regulatory and technical support for major station initiatives and organizational objectives in a nuclear environment. The role involves collaborating with engineering project teams, plant organizations, vendors, and regulatory bodies. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with nuclear safety and licensing requirements, supporting project milestones, and contributing to regulatory strategy. At entry level, the role requires performing routine tasks with limited supervision; higher levels involve leadership, strategic guidance, and oversight.
Required / Mandatory Skills:

• Experience working in a Department of Energy (DOE) or Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) regulated environment
• Strong understanding of nuclear licensing and regulatory requirements
• Ability to apply engineering principles to solve complex technical problems
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
• Minimum 7 years of engineering experience in a technical environment
• At least 2-4 years of experience in a DOE or NRC regulated nuclear environment (based on level)
• OR Professional Engineer (PE) license with equivalent experience
• High school diploma or GED required
• Demonstrated experience in at least one diverse assignment within engineering
