This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for guiding a team of 75+ established professionals delivering conveyance, treatment, electrical, and pump station projects for public and private-sector clients.This role blends people leadership, client engagement, business development, and hands-on project delivery. You will have the support of senior leadership while playing a key role in strengthening team culture, driving growth, and delivering meaningful infrastructure projects across the Pacific Northwest.What You Will DoLead & InspireProvide clear direction and vision for a distributed regional team (Puyallup, Seattle, Spokane, Portland), aligning efforts to meet performance goals and strategic prioritiesLead a high-performing team by setting expectations, tracking key metrics, and driving accountability for resultsFoster an environment where people feel supported, included, engaged, and motivated to do their best workBuild trust and credibility through consistent communication, sound decision-making, and visible leadershipEmpower team members through thoughtful delegation, ownership, and recognitionFoster the development of emerging leaders and project managers, strengthening the team’s long-term capabilityChampion a people and client-first mindset supporting strong relationships with existing clients while positioning the team to grow and win new workDrive Client Success & GrowthStrengthen and expand client relationships across municipal water/wastewater agenciesPartner with business development teams to identify and pursue new opportunitiesPosition the team for strategic growth in treatment, conveyance, and pump station programsDeliver ExcellenceOversee project performance, ensuring quality, schedule, and financial successAct as a senior project manager or principal on key projectsSupport teams in navigating complex technical and client challengesBuild the FutureDevelop and execute regional strategies aligned with broader organizational goalsIdentify opportunities to build programs and expand service offeringsCollaborate with the Greater Washington Leadership Team on market and operational prioritiesWhat You BringBachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field required and 15+ years of experienceProfessional Engineer (PE) license required (Washington and/or Oregon preferred, or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe)Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teamsStrong background in water/wastewater infrastructure (treatment, conveyance, pump stations)Track record of successful client engagement and business development.
