Eurofins companies offer a portfolio of over 200,000 analytical methods to evaluate the safety, identity, composition, authenticity, origin, traceability and purity of biological substances and products.Job DescriptionManage business operations for multiple scientific teams in Pacific NW (Washington and Colorado)Lead direct reports, group leaders and their teams, and serve clients in technical settings, such as laboratories or manufacturing facilitiesCollaborate with clients to meet their resourcing and technical needs and ensure PSS staff are performing high quality superlative service to contribute to our client operationsRegular meetings with each direct report, the Eurofins department, and client managementDisseminate administrative communications and policiesFinancial responsibilities as defined by the DirectorDemonstrate and promote the company visionProactively plan and multitask to maximize productivity, drive efficiency and increased value for our clientsDevelop and meet all quality and productivity metrics, and demonstrate strong teamwork and collaborationManage employee reviews, development, and performance processCoach and develop group leaders and staff to enhance their skills and ensure a strong succession plan for employee engagement and developmentOrganize technical resources and staff to accomplish client goals within given deadlinesEnsure adherence to highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operationsEnsure coverage and maximize team performance through Operational Excellence to gain efficiencies and enhance valueProactively identify and manage risk to the business and to ensure operational resiliencyAssist Senior Leadership with business operations, client and team governance, and new business development as neededStays current in science and technology and consults knowledgeably with clientsFoster morale and teamworkQualificationsBachelor's degree in Biotechnical Sciences, Engineering, or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experienceAt least 5 years of experience leading direct reportsScientific background with hands on laboratory experience in a pharmaceutical, clinical, or GMP laboratory settingAbility to travel locally within the Seattle area frequently.
