TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, 35401!

Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years in CVICU License: Registered Nurse license required Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA NIH or Red Cross certifications required Must-Have: Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals. Description: Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals. Will accept 36 or 48 hours per week. Holidays as required. Every other weekend is mandatory. Two years of recent CVICU experience is required. The unit cares for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, thoracic, vascular, and other surgical conditions requiring critical care. The focus is on post-operative recovery and providing complex invasive hemodynamic monitoring. Nurses must exhibit high levels of professional competency. The stepdown unit focuses on the care and recovery of patients after cardiac, thoracic, or vascular surgery. Both units are supported by a cardiovascular educator. The team specializes in a patient-centered approach to care. The aim is to make the patients' experience pleasant and comfortable in a safe and secure environment. An associate degree in nursing is required. AHA PALS certification is preferred if working in a pediatric unit.
