Renovation Specialist - 33

Overview Renovation Specialist is responsible for completing all construction and renovation on inventory homes in a Portfolio Of Communities. Additional responsibilities include inventory home management, portfolio management and project management to ensure community inventory is ready for sale in good physical condition with a stabilized fiscal operation. Use of technology to communicate and report objectives and progress. Adhere to all applicable fair housing laws governing real estate sales, leasing and management maintenance service. The following duties are not conclusive and can change as the Company deems necessary and as determined by your supervisor. Responsibilities Renovate mobile homes, apartments, offices, clubhouses, and related spaces using hand and power tools in accordance with instructions and scope of work, with attention to detail and cost efficiency. Attend regular safety training and uphold high standards for workplace safety by self and team. Coordinate with Renovation Team Lead to determine proper scopes and scheduling of renovations. Inspect all inventory homes within the region for readiness; identify repairs needed and create a scope of work within estimated costs. Communicate inspection requests, analyze quotes and scopes for accuracy, and submit for approval. Follow up with vendors or team for scheduling and completion of work. Identify inventory needs and complete renovation of inventory homes; physically examine inventory and renovation work regularly. Research building materials to find the best quality and price; compile weekly inventory reports and manage tasking and purchase card reconciliations. Use technology (mobile phone, tablet, laptop or PC) to create, track, and report progress on all work orders, timesheets and performance. Other responsibilities deemed necessary by supervisor. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred. Proficient in Excel, MS Office, Internet, and various computer and mobile device applications. Construction experience preferred; knowledge in rough and finish carpentry, plumbing, electrical, siding, flooring, painting, and home finishing. Experience with hand and power tools used for demolition and construction of homes, apartments, offices, and clubhouses. Energetic and detail-oriented; safety and results driven. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Flexibility to travel up to 25%; some weekends may be required. Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record (minimum 3 years). Physical Requirements Occasionally stand, walk, and work outdoors; be prepared for exposure to outside weather conditions. Occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds, with or without assistance. Compensation Salary: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour (Based on experience).
