Human Resources Director

You are stepping into an HR department that is ready to go! The HR Director will lead all people operations for 2 sites with 400 employees. This is a 1 person department currently with full backing of the C Suite!
You must have previous manufacturing experience and have the ability to work onsite in Hauppauge, NY.
You have proven success collaborating with the office and manufacturing staff. In this role you will be responsible for recruitment from hire to retire, benefits administration and management, labor relations, ensure full compliance with federal, New York State, and local employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA, EEO, and workers’ compensation, strong understanding of a manufacturing environment and comfortable walking the manufacturing floor.
You will have the opportunity to implement process and procedure with your fresh ideas! You will not be responsible for payroll or time keeping which is a plus! The ideal candidate has 7+ years hands on manufacturing experience in a consumer goods facility. Bilingual Spanish is a plus! Employee retention is great, but they would love to continue that trend!
