The OpportunityBuckstop is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Intelligence / Data Analyst basis to support our data analytics, customer insights, and visibility initiatives.In this role, you will work closely with our team to conduct customer case study research, build internal visibility dashboards, analyze customer metrics, clean and segment complex datasets, and generate actionable insights for strategic decision-making.The ideal candidate brings energy and project finance experience combined with a strong analytical toolkit and the ability to translate complex data into clear visualizations and communication.What You'll DoBusiness Intelligence & Data AnalysisConduct customer case study research to evaluate operational performance and customer impactDrive internal customer visibility analysis and cross-functional communicationPerform data segmentation and attribution analysis across customer and operational datasetsDefine, track, and report on internal performance metrics and KPIsExecute data cleaning, transformation, and segmentation routinesDesign, build, and maintain data visualizations and dashboardsWhat We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsExperience in the energy sector At least 3 years of project finance experienceAt least 3 years professional experience using Python and Excel macrosStrong proficiency in data analysis, data cleaning, segmentation, and data visualizationAbility to communicate complex analytical findings clearly to stakeholdersPreferred QualificationsExperience working at a B2B software companyExperience with insurance underwriting and/or risk modelingExperience with user and product engagement modelingUsing AI models to generat e verify and confirm financial models Who You AreYou are highly analytical, detail-oriented, and structured in your approach to problem-solvingYou enjoy working with raw datasets and turning them into clean, reliable insightsYou operate with an ownership mindset and can work independently in a fast-paced environmentYou communicate complex data clearly across teamsWhy BuckstopDirect collaboration with founders and cross-functional leadershipHigh-visibility contract role shaping the business intelligence foundation of the companyOpportunity to apply your analytics expertise to core sustainability and circular economy challengesIf you're excited about leveraging data to build the intelligence layer for the circular economy, we'd love to hear from you.
