Job Summary:
Radiation Oncology Physicist position located in Blairsville, Georgia. This role involves providing clinical physics support within a radiation oncology setting, ensuring safe and effective treatment delivery according to established protocols. The position requires working dayshift hours, with scheduled holidays and experience in the specialty.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within the specialty
  • AHA (American Heart Association) BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Masters Degree in Medical Physics or a related field
  • Must be American Board of Radiology (ABR) certified or eligible
  • Experience with Varian accelerators
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified
• Additional Information:
  • No local candidates within 50 miles
  • The position requires working two major holidays of the three listed (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
