Schedule: Medical Step-Down Unit with 6-20 bed capacity; Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4

Highlights:

• Intermediate care medical step-down environment with diverse patient population
• Patient conditions include Sepsis, Heart Failure, Hypertensive Emergency, Respiratory Failure, COPD, Chronic Kidney Disease, Type 2 Diabetes, Substance Abuse, Status Epilepticus, and Encephalopathy
• Manageable 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio supporting quality care delivery
• Opportunity to float to other Intermediate Care Units within the facility, expanding clinical experience
• Collaborative team environment in a major metropolitan healthcare setting

Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of Georgia
• Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience required
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Medical step-down or intermediate care experience strongly preferred
