About the Position
Job Title: RN - PCU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: Long-Term Shift: NOC Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Proven experience in PCU or intermediate care settings License: Valid RN license Certifications: None specified Must-Have: Commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork Description: The organization is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Progressive Care Unit. In this long-term assignment, you will provide exceptional nursing care for patients requiring close monitoring and specialized treatment as they transition from acute or critical care. Key responsibilities include managing post-surgical or medically complex patients, administering treatments, evaluating patient conditions, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. This position offers a manageable schedule of three NOC shifts per week, totaling 36 hours. A commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork is essential for success in this role.
