Junior Accountant

About the Role We're looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations. This role is a great fit for someone early in their accounting career who wants hands-on experience across the full accounting cycle, with mentorship from senior finance staff. Key Responsibilities Support accounts payable (vendor invoices, payment runs) and accounts receivable (invoicing, collections) Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts Assist with payroll processing and related reconciliations Support preparation of financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow) Assist with fixed asset tracking, depreciation schedules, and prepaid expense amortization Help prepare schedules and documentation for internal and external audits Support compliance with GAAP (or applicable accounting standards) and internal policies Assist with sales tax filings and other regulatory reporting as needed Support ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requests from management Qualifications Required 2 years of relevant accounting experience (internships included) Comfortable with Microsoft Excel Attention to detail and organizational skills Preferred Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Xero) Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Progress towards, or interest in pursuing, Bachelor’s degree and / or CPA certification Skills Analytical and problem-solving ability Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems/processes What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits package 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Clear path for growth within the finance team Position starting at $48,000-$55,000/year #J-18808-Ljbffr ILS Gummies, LLC
