In addition to the financial responsibilities, the staff accountant also provides business partnership to the Production, Engineering, and Customer Service teams. This is a growth-oriented role that would help prepare you to be a Finance Manager/Plant Controller in the future.Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include The Following:Key contributor to the financial close process including journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, and financial analysisAdministers raw material, WIP, and FG inventory records, reconciliations, and monthly reportsUpdates standard inventory costs as needed.Performs financial analysis of results, manufacturing variances, profitability, and projectsManages intercompany transactions and prepares monthly reconciliationPerforms bank reconciliations and ensures reconciled items are clearedUses the Epicor (ERP) system to record accounting transactions and provide financial support to other members of the Management team to assist them in their decision-making processesAdministers AR collection process, resolves collections by examining customer payment plans and payment history. Facilitates payment of invoices due by sending statements, bill reminders and other documents.Performs customer billing and submit invoices to customersPerforms ad hoc requests and other duties as assignedThis job has no supervisor responsibilitiesEducation and/or ExperienceBachelor's degree (B.
