Clinical Director of Labor and Delivery

Labor And Delivery Manager

This hospital is part of a much larger parent company with over thirty hospitals nationwide! This system includes Academic Medical Centers, over 4,000 licensed beds, and $4 Billion dollars in revenue. We have placed with this system several times and can tell you all about their growth opportunities (they plan to DOUBLE in size in the next decade), mission, and values!

They have a Women’s hospital in New Mexico that is looking to hire a dedicated Labor and Delivery Manager to join their team! This campus features a 53 bed Level 3 NICU, 16 labor and delivery rooms, 41 Mother Baby beds, and 73 med surg beds. Last year, they did over 2,700 births, so they need a Director of Labor and Delivery who knows the ins and outs of birth care.

This person will report to the CNO, who has been with this system since 2018! She’s described as a servant leader who cares about the employee engagement as much as the patient satisfaction.

Requirements:

BSN, RN required. Masters in Healthcare related field preferred
Minimum of five years of nursing experience in labor and delivery in an acute care hospital setting, three of those years must be in clinical leadership (manager and above).
