Step into a contract opportunity to make an impact as a Physical Therapist supporting students from PreK through 12th grade. In this dynamic role, you’ll deliver direct therapy services across eight school sites in the Rutland, VT area, managing an average caseload of 40 students. You will work alongside a supportive team of educators and related service professionals throughout the school year, beginning August 21, 2026, and concluding June 14, 2027. With a consistent schedule of 32.5 hours per week, this position offers the chance to foster student growth in both group and one-on-one settings.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Vermont (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience providing PT services in a school setting (K-12) preferred
• Strong knowledge of pediatric and adolescent physical therapy practices
• Ability to conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and implement effective therapy interventions
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Comfort traveling between multiple school sites

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to a diverse PreK-12+ caseload
• Develop, monitor, and document individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
• Consult on adaptive equipment and modifications to optimize student participation in school activities
• Provide both direct and consultative PT services across eight locations
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
