Exciting Opportunity for Registered Nurse - ER (Adult)

Job Description:


- Position: Registered Nurse ER (Adult)
- Scheduling Details:
- Shift Hours:
- Night: 7 PM - 7 AM (3x12-Hour)
- Day: 11 AM - 11 PM (3x12-Hour)
- Charting: EPIC experience required
- Weekend Requirement: Every Other
- Must submit RTO/Block & Special Scheduling Requests upon submission
- Call-Off Policy: Up to three shifts may be canceled during a 13-week contract period without incurring charges
- Holiday Requirement: Must be available to work every other holiday, if needed
- First-Time Travelers: Accepted
- Locals: Radius Rule - RNs within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted

- Required License/Certifications:
- Active New York Single State RN license (NY is not Compact)
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS - Valid NIHSS to be included in submission

- Required Clinical Skills:
- IV therapy (blood product administration, central line care, phlebotomy, starting/maintaining IVs)
- IV vasopressors, CPAP/BiPAP, ventilator management
- CVA (stroke), neuro-trauma, spinal cord injury, TBI
- Cardiac monitoring (interpretation and management of dysrhythmias)
- Emergency care (adult/pediatric ED, gunshot wounds, ortho trauma)
- Isolation precautions; Triage; Pediatric spinal cord injury

- Unit Details & Floating:
- Ratios: 1:5 for Adults and Geriatrics
- Special Equipment: Bair hugger, rapid infuser, safe patient handling equipment
- Scrub Color: Any combination of navy blue and white
- Required to float within skillset
