Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to support our transportation and logistics operations. In this role, you will act as a key liaison between carriers, internal teams, and customers to ensure timely, cost-effective, and efficient freight movement.

Customer Service Representative Details:

Temp-to-Hire position
$16.00 / hour
Full Time work available
First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 03:00pm )

Coordinate shipments and communicate with carriers to ensure timely deliveries
Track and monitor loads, providing updates to internal teams as needed
Assist with assigning carriers to available freight
Help resolve delivery issues and delays in a timely manner
Maintain accurate shipment and carrier information in company systems

Customer Service Representative Qualifications:

1+ years of customer service experience
High School Diploma or GED required
Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
Basic computer skills (email, data entry, Microsoft Office) and multiline phones
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay organized
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team setting
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience working with freight carriers, brokers, or 3PL environments
- Experience in billing or data entry
- Knowledge of supply chain processes and transportation regulations
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think quickly under pressure
