Job Type: Full-Time: Monday thru Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Pay: $26.00 an hour; yearly pay raise (bonuses throughout the year) Schedule: Day shift | Local routes | Home daily Location: Local deliveries (no overnight travel) Job Summary Howard Gasoline & Oil Co Inc is hiring a Reliable Oil Delivery Driver to deliver Heating Oil and Kerosene to residential and commercial customers. This is a local CDL driving job with steady hours, home-daily routes, and a strong focus on safety and customer service.
We are a small family-owned company who have been in business for 103 years. We are willing to train someone who has a CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements . Once trained you will have your own local route which your delivery area will stay the same. Which will lead to you creating a relationship with the customer, which overall helps with customer service. Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a Class B Oil Peddle Truck
Deliver Home Heating Oil to residential and commercial accounts
Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules
Complete Pre-trip and Post-trip Inspections
Comply with DOT regulations, safety policies, and company procedures
Provide professional, friendly Customer Service
Accurately complete delivery tickets, logs, and paperwork

Qualifications

Valid Driver’s License (CDL, Hazmat & Tanker Required)
Clean Driving Record
Previous experience as a Fuel Oil Delivery Driver
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
Comfortable working outdoors and driving in all weather conditions
Strong commitment to Safety and Reliability
Must be 21 Years of Age.
