Job Title: Call Center Representative
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Call Center Representative to join our client in a role that supports key business operations and contributes to important organizational initiatives. This Remote, temporary opportunity is ideal for professionals who thrive in a fast paced customer service environment and enjoy helping individuals navigate account related inquiries. The position plays an important role in delivering a positive caller experience through effective communication, problem solving, and accurate routing of requests. Success in this role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a consistent call volume while working independently.
Compensation:
$22.50/hour
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST
Key Responsibilities of the Call Center Representative:

• Deliver professional support to callers by responding to questions, providing account related assistance, and ensuring a positive service experience.
• Manage a steady volume of incoming calls while meeting productivity expectations and maintaining schedule adherence throughout the workday.
• Guide callers to appropriate resources and facilitate seamless transfers when requests require specialized assistance.
• Accurately document interactions and update customer information using business systems and customer service platforms.
• Maintain service quality by applying active listening, conflict resolution, and problem solving techniques during challenging customer interactions.

Qualifications and Skills for the Call Center Representative:

• Previous experience in a call center, customer contact, or high volume customer service environment.
• Demonstrated ability to remain calm, professional, and solution focused when handling escalated or sensitive conversations.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and experience navigating customer relationship management or contact center systems.
• Ability to multitask across multiple screens and applications while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
• Prior remote work experience and a consistent employment history are strongly preferred.
