Medical Malpractice Paralegal

Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, depositions, and mediations. Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, affidavits, and subpoenas. File legal documents with the appropriate courts and ensure proper service. Investigate and fact-find for cases, including interviewing witnesses and gathering medical records. Assist in the preparation of legal arguments, applications, declarations, and motions. Maintain communication with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and court personnel. Manage and organize case files and documents, ensuring all important information is easily accessible and up-to-date. Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Coordinate the discovery process, including drafting discovery requests and responses, organizing discovery materials, and coordinating depositions. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal, specifically in medical malpractice. Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program or equivalent legal experience. Proficient in legal research and writing, with a strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures. Excellent understanding of the litigation process, including filing and drafting legal documents. Familiarity with liability laws and regulations. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
